Problem IC63599 | Status: Closed |
A PERFORMANCE PROBLEM HAPPENS WHILE -PERFSTAT_MEMORY_TOTAL CALLS VMGETINFO
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
A big performance difference is seen with the call perfstat_memory total. In perfstat_memory_total, it calls vmgetinfo() with VMINFO as following: vmgetinfo(&vminfo, VMINFO, sizeof(struct vminfo)) However, it can call vmgetinfo with VMINFO_ABRIDGED directly instead of perfstat_memory_total as following: vmgetinfo(&vminfo, VMINFO_ABRIDGED, sizeof(struct vminfo))
