DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC63932 | Status: Closed |
PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION MAY OCCUR FOR CERTAIN WORKLOADS WITH QUE RIES THAT CONTAIN TABLE OR INDEX SCANS WITH SIMILAR PREDICATES
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
If multiple scans are running on the same tables or block indexes with very similar speeds, some scans may experience some performance degradation. The degradation is due to pages being removed from the buffer pool by earlier scans, which might be needed by the later scans. The later scans will have to read in these pages.
