DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC63964 Status: Closed

IMPLEMENTING A STRUCTURE TYPE AND DB2 CRASHES.

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
The crash does not happen when the structured type has a FROM
SQL client transform function that has been implemented using
LANGUAGE SQL.

The crash only occurs when the structured type has a FROM SQL
client transform function that has been implemented using
LANGUAGE C.

The LANGUAGE C client transform function works properly when
calling the DB2-generated type constructor and mutator functions
directly. The crash is only seen when calling a SQL PL function
which in turn calls the DB2-generated type constructor and
mutator
functions and then returns the structured type.
