DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC64065 Status: Closed

On Windows platform, some entries in DB2DIAG.LOG have lines terminating
in only x'0A' instead of X'0D 0A'

Problem description:
On Windows platform, in the db2diag.log there are some entries 
with lines terminating in only x'0A' instead of x'0D 0A'.  They 
show up as wrong format (one line instead of two lines) with 
some editors like Windows Notepad.  Other editors such as 
Windows Wordpad or Lotus Notes can handle and display the lines 
properly. 
 
There are no plans to fix this issue.  The db2diag.log is 
primarily intended for use by IBM Software Support for 
troubleshooting purposes. The administration notification log is 
primarily intended for troubleshooting use by database and 
system administrators.  Customers can an appropriate editor that 
can deal with this formatting issue.
