Problem description: | |
The DAS service exists after a successful DB2 uninstallation of Connect Server Edition. Steps to produce the problem: 1) Install DB2 Connect Server product on Windows where no DB2 was installed before 2) Uninstall the product using Add/Remove Programs under ControlPanel 3) Check the Services running under Component Services under Control Panel 4) With succesful uninstallation, DB2DAS00 is still running Note: This problem is specific to DB2 Connect Server Edition. | |

1) Prior to the uninstallation, drop the DAS by running "db2admin drop". 2) To perform brute force DB2 uninstallation, run "db2unins -f". 3) Remove the DAS service explicitly from Windows Services using Windows Registry. | |
