DB2 - Problem description

GETGENERATEDKEYS RETURNS A NULL RESULTSET INSTEAD OF THE ACTUAL GENERATED

Problem description:
JDBC Applications can use the getGeneratedKeys method to 
retrieve the Identity column values generated by an INSERT. In 
JCC version 3.57.82 (shipped with DB2 v9.7 GA) this method 
incorrectly returns a NULL resultset.
Problem Summary:
Users Affected: JCC applications inserting data into Tables with 
Generated Identity columns using the getGeneratedKeys method to 
retrieve the generated Identity column value. 
 
Problem Description: The getGeneratedKeys method incorrectly 
returns NULL instead of the generated value. This problem occurs 
in JCC versions greater than 3.53.95 and less than 3.57.86

Solution
First fixed in JCC version 3.57.86 which was shipped with DB2 
v9.7 FP1. 
 
The problem is also fixed in JCC version 3.57.82 which was 
shipped with Data Studio 2.2.
