If the database is created with Varchar2 compatibility set to ON, Call to UTL_DIR.CREATE_DIRECTORY or UTL_DIR.CREATE_OR_REPLACE_DIRECTORY with an alias set to spaces only will succeed: UTL_DIR.CREATE_DIRECTORY( ' ', '/home/directory' ) -- This will work, however it should fail with SQL0171N. | |
