Problem description: | |
NSE start/stop authentication is restricted only for the instance owner, not for primary group under instance owner. The ability to start/stop NSE (or DB2TS) should be no more restrictive than the ability to start/stop DB2 itself.
Problem Summary: | |
The ability to start/top NSE (or DB2TS) should be no more restrictive than the ability to start/stop DB2 itself. This was true in DB2 V8 but this has been changed in V97GA which many of the CM customers are having concern for this change in the behavior. This needs to be reverted back as the NSE start/stop previliege should be given to the primary group under the instance owner.
