Problem IC64632 | Status: Closed |
ADDED CODEPAGE CONVERSION TABLE TO DB2 LUW TO CONVERT HOST DATA TAGGED WITH CCSID 939 OR 1027 TO CODE PAGE 819.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Added codepage conversion table to DB2 LUW to convert host data tagged with CCSID 939 or 1027 to code page 819. Note: This conversion table is for single-byte character data (SBCS) only. CCSID 939 is for mixed-byte data (MBCS) and is a superset of CCSID 1027, which is used for single-byte character data (SBCS). If host data, tagged with CCSID 939, is converted to 819 using this table, only SBCS data in it, encoded in 1027, will be converted properly to 819, the rest of characters will be converted to the substitution character of code page 819.
