OPTIONAL INSTALLATION OF DB2 ADVANCED COPY SERVICES |

| Problem description: |
DB2 Advanced Copy Services (ACS or Integrated Flash Copy
Support) is no longer a required feature which is always
installed with db2.
DB2 users now have the option to select DB2 Advanced Copy
Services for installation in the install wizard or in the
response file.
When db2_install is used or when a typical mode installation is
performed then ACS will be installed by default.
In compact mode ACS is not selected for installation and it will
not be installed.
In custom mode ACS is selected for installation, however, the
user may deselect it. |
