Problem IC65235 | Status: Closed |
DURING A COM+ TRANSACTION AGAINST DB2 Z/OS, APPLICATIONS MIGHT FACE A SQL0998N ERROR ON THE INITIAL CONNECTION.
product: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / 950 - DB2
Problem description: | |
If a COM+ application is using a lower case userid to connect to a DB2 z/os database, application might see a SQL0998N error during the first try. If application retries, connection will work fine. The reason for the error SQL0998N(failure to enlist the connections in DTC transaction), is the incorrect case being used for string comparison for the uid field.
