INSTANCE MAY CRASH IF THE DOUBLE FREE OCCURS WHEN GETAUTHORITIES TRIES TO
FREE THE MEMORY ALREADY FREED.

Problem description:
Instance may crash if the double free occurs when getAuthorities 
tries to free the memory already freed.
