DB2 - Problem description

DB2UNINS FAILS TO UNINSTALL ALL PRODUCTS IF NO PARAMETER IS SPECIFIED

Problem description:
In V9.7, running the db2unins command without any parameters 
will not uninstall any DB2 product(s). No error message is shown 
in neither the command window and the log file.

Local Fix:
The are two options available to work-around this issue: 
1) Specify all the products to be removed via the -p option for 
db2unins. 
    e.g.  db2unins -p "ESE;QP" 
2) Edit the sample uninstall response file, located under <DB2 
Install Path>/install/db2un.rsp, and uncomment the line, 
REMOVE_PROD=ALL. Use this response file for db2unins to 
uninstall all products. 
    e.g. db2unins -u <response file>
