In 61558,101,616, When trying to add a table to a user, the Add Table dialogue box of the DB2 Control Center hangs. When I try to add a table to a user in the db2 control center it never comes back from the add table popup box, steps: Object View->'User and Group Objects'->'Chang User' Menu->'Table' tab->'Add Table' button->'Select schema' hang And screen copy of the reproduced steps please review file on GSA: 61558.101.616.Select_DB_Users_sequence.doc So I tested on db2 v9.7 control center, can easily reproduced the problem, but I tested on lower version db2 v9.1fp6 control center, it is fine, will not hang on the add table popup box.

Local Fix: | |
We have observed that if you single click for second time at some other schema in the schema combo box, then the processing results come without any hang. Suppose you want to see the tables from schema "SYSIBM". The steps should be:- a) Firstly single click on some other schema(other than "SYSIBM"). Once you single click on the schema, the schema combobox will remain active and the selected schema name will appear as GREEN in the name field. Let it be "ADMINISTRATOR" b) Then single click on the "SYSIBM" schema (or any schema from which you want to select the tables but it should be different from the schema on which first click is done) in the schema combo box. The results will get processed and the hang problem does not come.
