DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC65873 | Status: Closed |
LOADING INTO A TABLE WITH AN EXCEPTION TABLE AFTER EXECUTE "ALTER TABLE...ALTER COLUMN" MAY ENCOUNTER SQL3604N RC=2 ERROR
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The LOAD utility would submit an internal query on SYSIBM.SYSCOLUMNS, however, the referenced columns are updated incorrectly by "ALTER TABLE...ALTER COLUMN" due to APAR IZ67850. Thus, on a double byte code page database (e.g. 970 territory KR), loading into a table with an exception table after running "ALTER TABLE...ALTER COLUMN" may result SQL3604N Exception table "TEST_EXCP" corresponding to table "TEST" in the SET INTEGRITY statement or LOAD utility does not have the proper structure, has been defined with unique indexes, constraints, generated columns, or triggers, or is in the Set Integrity Pending state, or is of invalid type. Reason code "2".
