MAKE XA_END RETURN XAER_RMFAIL INSTEAD OF XA_RBOTHER IF THE CONNECTION TO THE DATABASE HAS BEEN TERMINATED |

| Problem description: |
The change introduced for this APAR is to make the X/Open
Distributed Transaction Processing XA function xa_end return
XAER_RMFAIL if both of the following conditions are true:
1) The transaction has got an error while processing SQL before
the xa_end function is called, and that error happened because
the connection to the database had been terminated
(for example because the database manager instance had been shut
down).
2) Client reroute is NOT enabled.
Before this change was introduced, the function xa_end would
return XA_RBOTHER in that situation.
At a minimum, this APAR fix should be applied on the client. |
