product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Setting the permissions of 'events' subdirectory (where the db2optstats logs are written) incorrectly traps DB2 instance. Customers should not manipulate ( create, or change permission, etc. ) on DIAGPATH/events/ directory. This subdirectory ( events/ ) is supposed to be created by DB2 instance automatically with such permissions: drwxrwxr-t 2 shenli pdxdb2 256 Jan 20 16:56 events However, this APAR is intended to avoid the trap in such a case. This problem is not present in V9.7.
