RESTORE TO A NUMBER OF PATHS LESS THAN THE ORIGINAL NUMBER OF AU TOMATIC
STORAGE PATHS CAN FAIL WITH SQLB_AS_INVALID_STORAGE_PATH

Problem description:
During a redirected restore of a database with automatic 
storage.  If you specify a number of paths less than the 
original number of paths in the backup it can fail with 
SQL1051N. 
 
Example: 
The original 8 automatic storage paths are path1 - path8 
 
Given the restore command: 
db2 restore db sample from /backup ON 
'newpath1', 'newpath2', 'newpath3', 'newpath4' 
DBPATH ON 'dbpath' 
 
It can fail with an SQL1015N and you will see messages similar 
to the following in the db2diag.log:
