| Problem description: |
On Windows platforms, the DB2 Design Advisor (db2advis) may not
give index recommendations consistently for the same workload on
multiple runs.
That is, when the exact same options or command-line parameters
and values are supplied to db2advis at 2 separate invocations,
and the exact same input workload is used, one invocation may
give index recommendations and another invocation may not.
This can occur if the input workload for db2advis is small and
the number of recommended index candidates generated is also
small. |
