WORKING CLI/ODBC APPLICATIONS WILL EXIT ABNORMALLY WHEN DB2TRC IS ON |

| Problem description: |
For CLI/ODBC applications, if db2trc is turned on the
application will abort.
If collecting a db2trc/cli trace to reproduce the problem, the
traces will not show any indication of why the application
fails.
Windows debugging tools also do not provide any information.
For example when running Microsoft Office Excel with db2trc
turned on, the failure popup reported:
Microsoft Office Excel has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. |
