Problem description: | |
A memory leak of 6496 bytes per lock occurs as a result of calling the MON_GET_LOCKS or MON_GET_APPL_LOCKWAIT table functions or querying the MON_LOCKWAITS admin view. The leak is from the private memory heap. 'db2mtrk -p -v' will show the leak Before calling MON_GET_LOCKS: Memory for agent 16 Other Memory is of size 20250624 bytes Total: 20250624 bytes After calling MON_GET_LOCKS to return info on 1006 locks: Memory for agent 16 Other Memory is of size 26869760 bytes Total: 26869760 bytes | |

The fix to properly free memory was included in v9.7 FP2. The memory leak will not occur anymore. | |
