DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC67094 | Status: Closed |
RUNNING DB2MOVE TOOL WITH -TS OPTION AND ACTIONS OTHER THAN EXPORT, MAY LEAD TO PROGRAM ABEND OR OTHER INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When running the db2move tool, the -ts option is only supported when the action is EXPORT. But currently when we run db2move with -ts option and actions other than EXPORT, for example db2move source COPY -sn mkandiah -ts sms_tbs -co TARGET_DB target USER myuserid USING mypasswd we do not get a usage error. Instead, db2move may abend, or continue running with incorrect behaviour. With this fix, db2move will return an appropriate error message when -ts option is specified and action is not EXPORT.
