There may be an access violation on DB2 for Windows ( typically only in Client code ) in function cfgReadRegistryList. The conditions to encounter this problem are rare, as it requires an error code path to be followed due to a problem with the registry. | |

This problem has first been fixed in V9.7 Fix Pack 3. The correct behaviour is for DB2 to gracefully return an error reporting the underlying problem. | |
