Problem description: | |
Using the DB2 Configuration Assistant V9.5 fix pack 5 installed on Windows to test the OLEDB connection generates the error message "OLE DB connection failed." Using the IBM OLEDB provider outside of the DB2 Configuration Assistant works without error. The error message was generated by using the 'test connection' within the Config Assistant using these steps; 1. right-clicking on a listed DB catalog 2. select "Test Connection" | |
