Problem description: | |
In Configuration Assistant (db2ca), in the Data Source panel of the Add Database Wizard, the "Optimize for Application" drop down list box contains only the item "None". Here is how to reproduce this problem: 1) Start Configuration Assistant. 2) Select from the Configuration Assistant menu Select -> Add Database Using Wizard... The Add Database Wizard window should appear. 3) In the "1. Source" panel of the Add Database Wizard, select "Manually configure a connection to a database", then click the "Next>" button. 4) In each of the following panels, select suitable values for your database then click the "Next>" button until you get to the "5. Data Source" panel. 5) In the "5. Data Source" panel, check the "Register this database for CLI/ODBC" checkbox. Now the "Optimize for application" drop down list box contains only the item "None". | |
