V9.5 FP4/FP5 DIFFERS FROM V9.5 FP3 WHEN ISSUING AN EXPLICIT CONNECT COMBINED WITH OUTPUT REDIRECTION |

| Problem description: |
V9.5 FP3a or earlier works as:
$ db2 connect to sample user db2inst1 > a.out
-> Then hit [Enter], will ask password for the user db2inst1
as:
--------------
Enter current password for db2inst1:
--------------
But V9.5 FP4 and V9.5 FP5 works as:
$ db2 connect to sample user db2inst1 > a.out
-> Then hit [Enter], will NOT ask password for the user
db2inst1
-> the password request prompt is not returned as FP3a
-> And if you type password anyway, you make a connection.
-> a.out keeps the prompt "Enter current password for
db2inst1:" instead. |
