When using Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008, no objects will be displayed in the Server Explorer for the following objects: Tables, views, procedures and functions folders This happens only when using Visual Studio with the ODBC driver or the JDBC driver type 2 connection. | |

To workaround this issue: Step 1. add the following two key words to your db2cli.ini file under either [COMMON] or [DSN] section: RetCatalogAsCurrServer=1 UseSchemaQueries=1 Step 2. Once that is done please restart Visual Studio. | |
