Problem IC68338 | Status: Closed |
INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR WHEN THE IMAGE PATH CONTAINS ONE OR TWO MORE SPACES
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
If you specify an absolute trace file with the trace option (-t) and there are two or more consecutive spaces in your image path, a new directory with only one space will be created to store the trace file. Example : c:\ibm\97fp 1\SERVER> setup /t trace.trc /l trace.log dir c:\ibm\97fp 1\SERVER> 29/04/2010 10:19 <DIR> .. 29/04/2010 10:19 <DIR> . 29/04/2010 10:20 336 943 trace.trc 1 File(s) 336 943 bytes dir c:\ibm\97fp 1\SERVER> 17/11/2009 22:52 180 224 db2unins 19/11/2009 01:48 381 627 db2NewRegHKLM.txt 19/11/2009 01:48 27 autorun.inf 19/11/2009 04:36 75 112 db2prereqcheck.exe 19/11/2009 09:12 2 003 db2unins.bat 19/11/2009 14:02 144 744 setup.exe 19/03/2010 17:21 <DIR> db2 19/03/2010 17:22 <DIR> doc 19/03/2010 17:22 <DIR> VSAI 29/04/2010 10:27 6 410 268 trace.log 29/04/2010 10:26 <DIR> . 29/04/2010 10:26 <DIR> .. 7 File(s) 7 194 005 bytes dir c:\ibm /X 29/04/2010 10:19 <DIR> 97FP1~2 97fp 1 29/04/2010 10:34 <DIR> 97FP1~1 97fp 1
