When an instance is upgraded from a V9.1 or V9.5 copy to a V9.7 copy, if db2 instance does not already exist in the V9.7 copy prior to the upgrade, the db2iupgrade command will fail with the DBI1918N error. The command works if an instance is created in the V9.7 copy prior to running db2iupgrade command. | |
