INSTALLATION OF FIXPACK FROM UNIVERSAL IMAGE FAILS WITH A MINOR ERROR. |

| Problem description: |
During a universal fixpack install of DB2 V9.5, if the installed
TSA version is higher than the TSA version provided in the
universal fixpack image and an additional language besides
English was installed with DB2, the fixpack installation would
result in a minor error. This error can be ignored.
e.g.
# ./installFixPack -b /opt/ibm/db2/V9.5
In the log file you would see the following task fail:
...
Installing national language support for SA MP Base Component
:.......Failure
...
After applying the fix, the above task will only be executed if
TSA was updated. |
