DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC68564 | Status: Closed |
EVMON_FORMAT_UE_TO_TABLES() RECEIVING "SQL0818N A TIMESTAMP CONFLICT OCCURRED."
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Package xdb was modified between 9.7 FP0 and 9.7 FP1. Auto rebind did not trigger because the package timestamp is the same in both versions. The timestamp should change whenever there is a modification to the xdb package. The above resulted in function EVMON_FORMAT_UE_TO_TABLES() receiving "SQL0818N A timestamp conflict occurred." because the executable and package had the same timestamp but were of different version. Also, source code shouldhandle -818 or -805 errors to automatically rebind the package. If the package was bound in a previous fixpak and the package was updated in a more recent fixpak, upon installation of the more recent fixpak, the rebind should be transparent to the user.
