DB2 - Problem description

DB2DART AND INSPECT FAIL ON VERY OLD PAGE HEADERS FROM PREVIOUS DB2
RELEASES IN DB2 V9.7

Problem description:
DB2DART and INSPECT fail on valid database objects, when these 
objects do contain very old page headers from previous DB2 
releases. Normal DML statements are working as expected against 
these objects and do not report any issues. 
 
INSPECT fails with SQL1141N and the following additional 
information in the result file: 
 
Error: The object table in tablespace ID XX does not have valid 
       entry for table with ID YY. 
Error(s) identified during processing. 
 
DB2DART /T on the object in question will report problems like 
this: 
 
Error: Version 500 BPS Header DATLEN (4040) incorrect, DB2DART 
       processing will assume value of 4048, in pool page 64, 
       object page 0, from object ID 65535, pool 0. 
Error: Data file header record has bad offset 3988, expected 
       3996. 
Error: Unable to obtain the page count of DAT object, assume 1 
       page. 
Error: Version 500 BPS Header DATLEN (4040) incorrect, DB2DART 
       processing will assume value of 4048, in pool page 64, 
       object page 0, from object ID 65535, pool 0.
