DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC68829 | Status: Closed |
ONLY THE BUILD-IN SYSTEM ACCOUNT HAS THE AUTHORITIIES TO ACCESS AND GRANT ACCESS TO THE DATABASES CREATED IN A SILENT INSTALL
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
For a database specified in the response file to be created during a silent install, its creator is the build-in SYSTEM account on Windows. Because of the changes introduced by Separation of Duties in the V97GA release, only the creator (SYSTEM account in this case) has the SECADM/DBADM/ACCESSCTRL/DATAACCESS to that database. Thus, other users, even a member in the local Administrators group, do not have the access and do not have the authority to grant db access to other users.
