DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC68884 | Status: Closed |
IN HA ENVIRONMENT, FILESYSTEMS FAIL TO MOUNT DUE TO A CONFLICT BETWEEN THE MOUNTV98_MONITOR.KSH AND MOUNTV98_START.KSH SCRIPTS
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 980 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The mountV98_monitor.ksh script mounts a filesystem before the mount start script can do so, thus leading to device busy error when the mountV98_start script attempts to mount it. On AIX, the mountV98_monitor.ksh script will mount the filesystem it is attempting to monitor if it finds its volume group is varied on on this same node.
