DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC69000 Status: Closed

MEMORY LEAK IS POSSIBLE IF CULTURALLY CORRECT DATABASE IS USED AND QUERY
HAS LIKE PREDICATE

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
Memory leak can occur if a culturally correct database is used,
and a query has like predicate.

For example:
CREATE DATABASE UTF8 COLLATE USING UCA500R1_LEN_S2

Running queries against character columns using LIKE predicate
can result in a memory leak.
The problem does not happen in DPF databases.
The problem does not happen if dbm cfg parameter INTRA_PARALLEL
is set to YES.
