Under a specific case, when SQL statements were failing due to SQLCODE -101, db2diag.log only reported "Out of memory failure for Statement Heap. The reason for the failure was due to Operating system call shmget failing with errno 28 (ENOSPC). shmget failure was not reported in the db2diag.log but captured by the db2trc. The Intent of this APAR is to report shmget failure in the db2diag.log as well to help improve serviceability. | |
