| Problem description: |
Databases created or upgraded to DB2 Version 9.7 GA or Fix Pack
1 will experience a problem with the UTL_SMTP.OPEN_CONNECTION
procedure as described in APAR IC66788. In order to repair this
procedure on these existing databases, this APAR fix is required
in combination of running the db2updv97 command.
Databases created or upgraded to DB2 Version 9.7 Fix Pack 2 will
contain the fix already for APAR IC66788, hence, this APAR fix
is not required for those databases. |
