CRASH IN DB2APP!CLI_SMPMAPSTATE

Problem description:
ODBC applications can crash in db2app.dll during the 
connection attempt.  This will typically occur on connection 
attempts from Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access with the 
following message : 
 
"Faulting application msqry32.exe, version 12.0.6423.1000, 
faulting module db2app.dll, version 9.7.200.358, fault address 
0x0029f0e3"

Local Fix:
Add the userid and password in the db2cli.ini file by running 
the following commands: 
db2 update cli cfg for section <section> using uid <user> 
db2 update cli cfg for section <section> using pwd <password>

DB2 Version 9.1 Fix Pack 10  for Linux, UNIX and Windows
DB2 Version 9.1 Fix Pack 11  for Linux, UNIX and Windows
DB2 Version 9.1 Fix Pack 12  for Linux, UNIX and Windows

The problem was first fixed in DB2 9.1 FP10
