DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC71408 | Status: Closed |
LOGGING PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED WHEN NUMBER OF CPU CORES IS GREATER THAN 16 FOR DPF databases
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
DPF Customers may experience longer transaction response times and lower throughput when they hit this APAR. This would affect customers who have more than 16 CPUs on a machine, but less than 16 CPUs per logical partition. For example, if a customer has a 64-CPU machine (ie: more than 16) with 8 logical partitions (ie: less than 16 per partition), they might be affected by this APAR.
