WHEN RESTORING A DATABASE TO A NEW INSTANCE ON AIX SERVER WITH TRANSPARENT LDAP,DB2DIAG.LOG SHOWS REGISTRY ATTRIBUTE ERROR |

| Problem description: |
When restoring a database to a new instance name on server
running AIX with transparent LDAP, you will see db2diag.log file
messages reporting error for original instance owner id
Error shows as:

(User
does not exist in user database). Error encountered while
retreiving REGISTRY
attribute for user db2inst1. Please consult AIX administrator.
The above error message is for a database that originally
resided in instance db2inst1, but was moved to db2inst2 on a
server where db2inst1 does not exist.
If you create the userid for the old instance on the new server,
you do not see these messages. |

Run the db2 'TRANSFER OWNERSHIP' command to change owner from
old Instance owner id to the new Instance owner id for all
database objects. |
