DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC71481 Status: Closed

Output from deadlock event monitor shows incorrectly formatted data.

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
Sample deadlock event monitor output:

436) Deadlock Event ...
  Deadlock ID: 3
  Deadlock node: 0
  Number of applications deadlocked: 2
  Deadlock detection time: 07/27/2010 23:05:01.791504
Rolled back Appl participant no: 2
  Rolled back Appl Id: *N0.dwhprod.100727210357
Rolled back Appl seq number: : 000d
437) Connection Header Event ...
  Appl Handle: 1023
  Appl Id: *N0.dwhprod.100727210357
  Appl Seq number: 00013

Here, we can see couple of problems:

1. Two ':' (colons) on line starting with 'Rolled back Appl seq
number'.
2. Line starting with 'Rolled back Appl seq number' shows hex
values. In the same output, rest of the values are decimal.
