DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC71914 | Status: Closed |
MOUNT POINTS MAY FAIL TO MOUNT ON PASSIVE NODE IN HA ENVIRONMENT
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Mount points may fail to mount on Passive node successfully during Active node reboot. In an integrated shared storage HA environment, if there are multiple filesystems exist on the same vg on AIX systems, during the Active node reboot test some mounts may fail to mount on the passive node. In this scenario the actual "mount <MP>" command may not succeed due to timing issues with other commands that are executing at the same time. This issue may be intermittent and it is not dependent on a particular mount
