As a workaround, take a backup copy of your CLI configuration file db2cli.ini before you upgrade. When you upgrade a DB2 copy from DB2 9 using the db2iupgrade tool, db2cli.ini might be saved in the directory sqllib_v91/cfg. If it is saved there then after running db2iupgrade you can copy the old db2cli.ini from sqllib_v91/cfg | |

Problem was first fixed in Version 9.7 Fix Pack 5. At a minimum, this fix should be applied on the DB2 installation which you upgrade to DB2 9.7. | |
