DB2 - Problem description

CONTROL CENTER WILL NOT SHOW FOLDERS WHEN CREATING A DATABASE

Problem description:
This problem only occurs on v9.7 Fixpak 3. 
 
The following steps display the behavior: 
1) Catalog the server with a complete admin node, tcpip node 
2) Right click on the databases folder under the instance that 
corresponds to the server from (1) in Control Center and select 
to create a new database. 
3) Click on the "..." beside the database path dialog 
4) You will only be allowed to select the local file system, not 
the remote file system.

Local Fix:
- Use the DB2 CLP and use the command line syntax to attach to 
the node and run a create database command manually 
- Use a different version than DB2 LUW v9.7 Fixpak 3 on the 
machine where Control Center is running.
