DB2 - Problem description

DATA CORRUPTION IF DATA REQUIRE LAYOUT TRANSFORMATION BASED ON DB2BIDI
SETTING TO YES

DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
If application and database codepages are different, if server 
or client need layout transformation for data defined by setting 
DB2BIDI to yes the data corruption can appear for following 
levels of code: 
 
v9.5GA - v9.5FP5, and v9.5FP7; 
v9.7 from GA 
 
This problem is not affecting v9.5FP6 and release 9.1.

Users affected: All that use BIDI scripts 
Problem summary: Data corruption when BIDI=YES and application 
and database codepages are different.

Use level of code that is not affected.
