Problem IC73737 | Status: Closed |
DB2 SPATIAL EXTENDER MISSING COORDINATE SYSTEMS WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR_AUXILIARY_SPHERE AND WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Attempting to create a spatial reference system based on either of these coordinate systems will fail. For example: db2se create_srs sample -srsName MERC -srsID 300 -coordsysName WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR -xOffset -100000000 -xScale 100 -yOffset -100000000 GSE1018N A coordinate system named "WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR" does not exist. and db2se create_srs sample -srsName MERC_AUX -srsID 301 -coordsysName WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR_AUXILIARY_SPHERE -xOffset -100000000 -xScale 100 -yOffset -100000000 GSE1018N A coordinate system named "WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR_AUXILIARY_SPHERE" does not exist. Although these coordinate systems can be created manually using the Spatial Extender command: db2se create_cs sample -coordsysName WGS_1984_WEB_MERCATOR_AUXILIARY_SPHERE -organizationCoordsysId 102100 -organization ESRI -description "Web Mercator Major Auxilliary Sphere" -definition "PROJCS[\"WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere\",GEOGCS[\"GCS_ WGS_1984\",DATUM[\"D_WGS_1984\",SPHEROID[\"WGS_1984\",6378137.0, 298.257223563]],PRIMEM[\"Greenwich\",0.0],UNIT[\"Degree\",0.0174 532925199433]],PROJECTION[\"Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere\"],PARAMET ER[\"False_Easting\",0.0],PARAMETER[\"False_Northing\",0.0],PARA METER[\"Central_Meridian\",0.0],PARAMETER[\"Standard_Parallel_1\ ",0.0],PARAMETER[\"Auxiliary_Sphere_Type\",0.0],UNIT[\"Meter\",1 .0]]" attempting to use this coordinate system will result in the error: GSE3417N Invalid coordsys definition. These errors may occur in third-party software although the specific error indications may be different.
