Problem IC73999 | Status: Closed |
ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE FAILS WITH SQL0104N DURING SAMPLING TO CREATE A COMPRESSION DICTIONARY
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Users will get SQL0104N: An unexpected token "," was found following " ". Expected tokens may include: "CONCAT". SQLSTATE=42601 Prerequisites: - Row compression enabled on source table. If target table is given, row compression is enabled on the the target table. - Database need to run under a locale that uses comma in floating point numbers e.g. de_DE - Table that should be moved is bigger than DEEPCOMPRESSION_SAMPLE (default: 20MB).

Local Fix: | |
- If applicable, change your database server to a different database locale that uses dot in floating point numbers e.g. en_US. - Use ADC instead of sampling by setting DEEP_COMPRESSION_SAMPLE to 0 using ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE_UTIL. This may lead to a suboptimal compression dictionary.
