Problem description: | |
In DPF environment, changing data type of the distribution key column may cause the distribution hash value changing and hence DB2 returns wrong results. The following is an example: 1. db2 connect to sample 2. db2 "create table test (col1 bigint) " 3. db2 "insert into test values (1234567890)" 4. db2 "alter table test alter col1 set data type double" 5. db2 "select * from test" COL1 ------------------------ +1.23456789000000E+009 1 record(s) selected. 6. db2 "select * from test where col1 = 1234567890" COL1 ------------------------ 0 record(s) selected | |
