MULTI-BYTE CHARACTER ISSUES WITH CLOBS IN JAVA UDF/STORED PROCEDURES

Problem description:
-Characters may get truncated from a CLOB value returned by a 
Java 
UDF (or stored procedure) in case it contains multi-byte 
characters. 
 
-This issue is seen in UTF8 Database and with non-ASCII 
characters.
