Problem description: | |
When collecting db2support, the following message can be written in db2diag.log: 2011-02-25-06.15.16.184540-300 E1445A771 LEVEL: Error (OS) PID : 53895328 TID : 1 PROC : db2support INSTANCE: db2inst1 NODE : 000 EDUID : 1 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, oper system services, sqlochdir, probe:10 MESSAGE : ZRC=0x860F000A=-2045837302=SQLO_FNEX "File not found." DIA8411C A file "" could not be found. CALLED : OS, -, chdir OSERR : ENOENT (2) "A file or directory in the path name does not exist." DATA #1 : String, 0 bytes Object not dumped: Address: 0x0000000000000000 Size: 0 Reason: Address is NULL DATA #2 : String, 40 bytes /home/db2inst1/DB2SUPPORT/USERCOLLECTIONS DATA #3 : String, 105 bytes Search for ossError*Analysis probe point after this log entry for further self-diagnosis of this problem. The db2support will try to look for the profile file either from user specified absolute path through -profile or from db2 install path by default. So even without -profile, db2support still checks the profile by default from <db2install>/sqllib/adm directory. If it can't find it, the above message will be given as information. The fix for this APAR will avoid this error when the profile file doesn't exist. So db2support will check if the profile collection exists, if so, it will add them in the db2support.zip file. | |
